If you fancy a change from BBQing outside your yurt or maybe you want to leave the yurt campsite to celebrate a special occassion then there are many local places to visit. From the local chippy to Michelin star restaurants there is something for everyone to enjoy whilst on your yurt holiday.
Situated less than two miles away is the town of Llanfair Caereinion. Easy to reach by car or you can also walk there along the lanes, or across the fields on the public footpath, for which directions are provided. The town is well served with three pubs, a wine bar, a butchers, a bakers, a petrol station, and a couple of convenience stores. And if you spend too long in the pub and don't fancy the walk back then there's no need to worry as there is always the local taxi service on hand to drop you back at the yurt campsite.

A traditional pub with three real ales. Serves an excellent Sunday carvery with three choices of local roast meat.

A small wine bar/cafe/bistro with a lovely riverside setting. Serves a range of home cooked food from Burmese Curry to Beef and Chorizo Casserole. Advance Bookings only.

Or if you are wanting to travel slightly further Welshpool (approx 6 miles away) has several restaurants and coffee shops. These include: The Royal Oak (modern hotel with dIning roomes): Coco (Coffee house); Spice UK (Indian restaurant); The Corn Store (British cuisine); The Bay Tree Vintage Tea Rooms (tea and cake as you'd expect, but also savory dishes, cocktails and beer)
